Here is what I learned about RATS today:
Rats can go longer without water than camels.
Rats do not like cheese, because they are lactose intolerant.
Rats have bellybuttons! (bellybutton is such a cute word!)
In the Karni Mata temple in India, rats are worshipped. They are believed to be the reincarnations of the followers of the Goddess Durga (the divine mother in Hindu culture). Priests maintain the temple and provide the rats with food.

Could you imagine?! They would probably horrified at the way we perceive rats here in America. It also makes me wonder if how we perceive rats has anything to do with how we perceive anything else…?
