I feel very passionate about doing our best to take care of our little animal friends. It breaks my heart to hear about animals being abused, euthanized due to lack of space in shelters, being turned into fur, not having a home, or anything else where an animal is being treated cruelly. I still eat meat because its delicious and I sometimes feel badly about that. Basically, I love animals. I’ve had hamsters, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, tortoises, snakes, dogs, and recently, my first cat. I even want a micro-pig someday. So I always knew I wanted to adopt an animal from a shelter someday, too.
Well, last year I finally did it. I went to the ASPCA in NYC and I brought home a kitten! You’ve probably seen Nala’s pictures in recent posts (Nala Posts). She was found as a stray and I am so proud to give her a loving home. I want to encourage everyone who could provide an animal a loving home to adopt. The animals need love. Help them out. Everyone wants to be loved and wanted.
And when you are even more prepared, consider adopting a child too.
I am thinking about fostering baby-baby kittens that need bottle feeding. My favorite part is when animals are babies. Have you ever fostered an animal?
