Nailtastic

Sooooo let’s just get this out in the open. I LOVE nail polish. There is something very therapeutic about doing my own nails, getting it done, finding the right polish…I love every aspect of the nail polishing ritual. So here are a few of my tips.
-Don’t polish your nails beneath any type of fan. Not even a ceiling fan. It will thicken the polish in the jar and on your nails. It will make it harder to get a even smooth polish on your nails and ruin a good polish much more quickly.
-Paint one coat, let it completely dry, then paint another. Apply a top coat.
-Invest in a top coat. Spend a little extra money. A good top coat can make a cheap polish worthy. I love OPI’s top coat.

Hot color of the moment? Opi’s Siberian Nights. It’s a lovely oxymoron of wild sophistication, bold and vibrant, unique yet trendy, giving you that awesome-without-trying look.

Siberian Nights in a deep black-esque color, with a hint of purple beneath it. Be inspired to go for other polishes with different colors beneath the black, such as red or blue.

P.S. I personally don’t play it safe with polish. It’s the easiest way to take a chance of walking on the wild side without permanently ruining anything. So have fun with it!
